Known for his hands-on approach and commitment to excellence, Kevin has led the firm through numerous successful projects across the commercial, residential, and racking sectors.
Ronald Gultom
Senior Engineer
Ronald holds a PhD in Civil Engineering with a focus on seismic-resilient structures, but found his true passion in consultancy, where he’s developed both technical depth and practical insight. His experience spans healthcare and residential sectors, including low-rise hospitals, apartments, multi-unit developments, and bespoke architectural homes. Beyond new builds, he has delivered peer reviews and detailed seismic assessments across various structural types. Driven by a commitment to help address New Zealand’s housing challenges, Ronald joined Crowe Consulting to contribute practical, efficient, and resilient design solutions. He continues to apply his expertise to projects of all complexities, supporting the creation of strong, vibrant communities throughout the country

Senior Engineer
With more than 8 years of hands-on experience in structural engineering, Eli specialises in the design and analysis of building structures across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Proficient in industry-standard software and codes, Eli delivers safe, cost-effective, and buildable solutions tailored to each project's unique architectural and site requirements. Known for a detail-oriented approach and collaborative mindset, Eli works closely with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and seamless project delivery from concept through to construction.
Amir Mohammadi
Artificial Intelligence Lead
Amir Mohammadi brings extensive expertise in artificial intelligence and digital innovation, with a focus on applying emerging technologies to solve real-world engineering challenges. Driven by a passion for efficiency and intelligent systems, he explores how AI can enhance design precision, streamline workflows, and foster collaboration at every stage of a project. Drawing on a background in data science and AI, Amir is helping Crowe Consulting integrate cutting-edge tools that advance our mission to deliver smarter, faster, and more reliable structural engineering solutions.
Candice Tang
Intermediate Engineer
Candice is a structural engineer focused on delivering clear, buildable, and code-compliant solutions within New Zealand’s design environment. Her experience includes timber-dominant residential projects as well as more complex structural systems. With a strong grounding in engineering fundamentals, she takes a practical approach to design—prioritising constructability, coordination, and the efficient use of materials while avoiding unnecessary complexity. Candice works closely with architects, builders, and other consultants to translate structural analysis into clear documentation that supports smooth construction and reliable long-term performance.
Allen Yan
Intermediate Engineer
Allen Yan is a structural engineer who enjoys turning complex engineering problems into clear, practical, and buildable solutions. With over five years of experience in New Zealand, he has worked across residential, commercial, and seismic strengthening projects, with a strong focus on timber structures and existing buildings. Allen takes a hands-on, collaborative approach, working closely with architects, builders, and clients to create efficient designs that are easy to build, well coordinated, and perform reliably over the long term.
